In 2018, Aiman Kler represented a joint venture formed by an Italian listed company in handling multi-party ICC arbitration arising from the construction of the FIFA World Cup sports venue in Qatar in 2022. The amount of claims and counterclaims exceeds 500 million US dollars, and the disputes are complex, involving contract interpretation of liability clauses, the acceptability of claims and counterclaims, and design and development issues.
We have prepared an expert report on the issue of res judicata in international arbitration for Korean clients.
I have prepared an intervention application to the European Court of Human Rights regarding the interpretation and application of Article 6 rights.
